Burning your candles for the First Time

THE FIRST TIME BURN FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR – BUT NO MORE THAN 4 TILL A MELTING POOL GETS CREATED

 

  • Prior to lighting Prior to lighting, remove and discard packaging
  • Burning Candles must be burned within sight at all times; never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Keep burning candles away from flammable materials and out of reach of children
  • Wick Care Keep wick trimmed to 1/4inch at all times If smoking occurs Extinguish the flame, re-trim wick to 1/4inch, remove trimmings and relight suitable holder
  • Only burn candles in or on suitable holders and place them on heat and fire resistant surfaces  heat sources
  • Do not place candles on or near other heat sources, and never place directly on furniture wax pool free Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches or any combustible material
  • Keep the wick centered light and heat Keep candles away from direct light and heat dripping and smoking Place your candle in an area free from drafts to discourage dripping and smoking
  • Extinguish candles Extinguish candles with care, as wax my splatter. A candle snuffer is recommended only natural waxes As we use only natural waxes your soy candles may pull away from the glass container. This is fine and does not affect the overall quality of the candle
  • Your soy candles are lightly scented so that you may use in rooms such as a bedroom. They hold enough scent to change the mood without overpowering the senses. Of course everyone is different. If you find any particular scent too strong avoid burning in rooms
  • Soy wax will wash out easily with hot, soapy water
  • DO NOT pour wax down your drains. The wax will solidify in the pipes and clog your sink
  • We use wicks made out of all natural fibres and they contain no lead or other harmful metals
